So you just got your new S4 and you’re very excited to use it. Everything’s great, from the camera to the cool new features such as Air View and Air Gesture. But if there’s one thing that I’m sure you’ll hate, it’s the bloatware that come with the Samsung S4.
I always thought that only the laptops have huge number of bloatwares, but the Samsung S4 is no different. Some of the pre installed apps are okay like the Flipboard and Dropbox, but the rest, especially the games, are just useless and it’s an eyesore every time I see them on my app menu. Not to mention that they also take a large amount of RAM and memory.
To make it worse, most of these games are just Demo and once your time is up, you don’t have the option to uninstall them (unless if your phone is rooted).1. Just go to Settings – More – Application Manager
2. Choose the apps that you don’t like and click them.
3. Click the “Disable” button, ignore the warning and click “OK“.
Though this trick will not remove the app on your phone, it will hide them on your menu to make it look cleaner. If you change your mind and you want to use these apps again, just click Enable.
